Case Study: Allwan Security Enhances Surveillance Capabilities with Peli Cases

Written by Brian | August 25, 2025

Overview

Allwan Security, a French provider of advanced surveillance and video monitoring systems, has been integrating Peli™ Protector Cases™ into its solutions since 2005. Specialising in rugged, portable systems for both industrial and law enforcement applications, Allwan relies on Peli’s protective cases to ensure durability, mobility, and readiness in the field.

Challenge

Allwan needed a reliable way to transport and deploy sensitive surveillance equipment—including high-powered PTZ cameras, monitors, and control systems—in environments ranging from nuclear facilities to rapid-response police and military units. Their gear not only had to be protected from shocks, water, and dust, but also had to be operational directly from the case, particularly during high-stakes interventions.

Solution

Peli Protector Cases became Allwan’s preferred solution for mission-critical transport and deployment. These cases are used to house their surveillance units, including custom-designed camera control centres and compact video relay systems.

A key example is the HK-Case, developed for both law enforcement and industrial users. It enables operators to wirelessly control and monitor camera feeds in real time, directly from the case. In nuclear environments, where workers wear protective suits and head-mounted cameras, the HK-Case serves as a mobile command unit, allowing remote supervisors to communicate with and guide field technicians during inspections.

Their most recent deployment, the Condor camera system, is Allwan’s largest and most powerful to date, capable of surveillance at distances of up to 14 kilometres—transported and operated using a rugged Peli Protector Case.

Results

With Peli Protector Cases, Allwan ensures its systems are:

  • Shock- and impact-resistant, ideal for rough transport and unpredictable deployment environments
  • IP67-rated for water and dust resistance, critical for outdoor and industrial use
  • Modular and mission-ready, allowing teams to operate equipment immediately upon arrival
  • Trusted by clients in high-risk sectors such as nuclear energy, petrochemical facilities, and tactical police units

Client Feedback

“Our customers, especially in law enforcement and the nuclear industry, really appreciate how durable and functional the Peli cases are,” said Thomas, Sales Representative at Allwan Technology. “The units are protected during transport and ready to deploy instantly in the field.”
