Can a Peli case survive outer space?

Written by Brian | September 6, 2017

Peli Products is the global leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance protective case solutions. Our cases are hailed as indestructible by anyone that has ever used one. But we decided to put it to the test in partnership with Zero 2 Infinity, an Aerospace company based in Barcelona specialising in elevating all kinds of payloads to outer space. Given that both companies support innovation, quality and new technologies to confront the everyday challenges of modern life, the partnership seemed like a no-brainer. Check out the video below to see how it all went down.

Zero 2 Infinity, a private company headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, with subsidiaries around the World, is radically simplifying access to Space. It is the only company in Europe specialized in the elevation to the Edge of Space of components that require testing and certifying in Space conditions. At the moment, it is working on sending small satellites into orbit through its project Bloostar and has mid-term plans to send people to Near Space for science and leisure (project Bloon). This is just the beginning!

Peli Products has been protecting equipment for scientists, emergency services and travellers in the most extreme conditions on Earth for over 40 years. However, it had never been put to the test in Space. Now it has. And it passed with flying colors.
